Synopsis
“54 Duomo” tells the transformation of the Ortica district of Milan from a suburban village to an “open-air museum”.
With the collaboration of Or.Me- Ortica memoria and Orticanoodles, a collective of street artists, the documentary presents short stories of some of the characters who have made the history of the Ortica district, from 1930 to today. The pivot of the narrative structure is the production of the 1: 2 scale mural of the central nave of the Milan Cathedral on a wall in Via Pitteri made by the Orticanoodles.
