Boy Soldier

Synopsis

Have you heard of Wakaliwood, the no-holds-barred no-budget action film studio from the slums of Kampala, Uganda? Google them. We can wait…. ….. Ok, now that you’re familiar, let’s talk Boy Soldier (Action Movie Experience!). This is a film made in partnership between a lone Canadian filmmaker, the Wakaliwood film crew and the cast of kids dubbed the Waka-Starz, who have participated in countless Wakaliwood films (ok, well, at least three if we’re counting). It stars Rachel and Isaac Nabwana (Jr), the daughter and son of Isaac Nabwana, famed Wakaliwood founder and director, and is produced by their mother, Harriet Nabwana. Boy Soldier is about the making of the greatest action film ever — seriously, it’s like Spiderman vs the Avengers you guys — it’s awesome. You won’t believe it. Take everything you know about action movies, put it in a blender, pour it on your body and you still won’t have a clue about what this pulse pounding thriller of a… ahem… ‘movie’… is about. Enjoy your face off!
