This is the video adjunct to the “Concept Cola Focus Group” Video Installation Performance it part of an ongoing project that will be performed. Pretend it was commission by a non existent corporation to a non existent ad agency. It is presented in a focus group style as a performance.
The Concept Cola “brand” is strong! here’s some background:
Inspired by Andy Warhol’s obsession with Coca-Cola was from its ubiquitousness and equalization of class.
“You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking.
All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it.”
The conceptual soft drink anyone may have by just thinking about it. You just had one!
