Prétu Funguli


Pretu Fuguli is a creole expression that is used in a discriminatory manner. This term has been revived by the Guinean visual artist, Nu Barreto who transformed it into a visual concept, with a large production and international projection.
Following the artist to Brazil, Guinea-Bissau, Macao, and even Paris where he lives and works, we are invited to dive into Nu Barreto’s life and work in order to understand his creative process and the conflicts in which lives the artist, who is from one of the poorest countries in the world.
