Synopsis
Damiano, after dating Cri for a few months, heads eagerly to her home for a special dinner. Cri welcomes him into a suspended, muffled world, where everything seems quiet and serene. She lives alone with her younger brother, fragile and entirely dependent on her, to whom she devotes all her attention, driven by a care that borders on obsession.
The evening appears to unfold sweetly, but beneath the surface of normalcy, between Cri’s warm attentions and her caring demeanor, something dark and unsettling creeps in, slowly revealing another side of her love.
As the dinner continues, Damiano learns the hard way what lies behind Cri’s gentle smile and the stifling dedication that binds her to her loved ones.
In thirteen minutes, “Rimani.” explores the thin line between love and possession, in a story torn between tenderness and tension, leaving the viewer suspended in a reality as sweet as it is dangerously distorted.
