Magnificent music composed by Johann Philipp Krieger (1649-1725), “Einsamkeit, Du Qual der Hertzen” (Solitude, agony of the hearts), masterfully interpreted by soloists Dorothee Mields (soprano) and Marco Ambrosini (nyckelharpa), with the Holland Baroque ensemble.

The images do not attempt to mimic the music, they dialog with it.
