Synopsis

The film “When I see you” depicts life in Berlin from the perspective of a mirror. Thereby it presents three stories which explore relationships to oneself and to others.

The film treats themes that circle in the German capital through a mix of realism and parody. Its experimental way of shooting creates a level of intimacy and simplicity that captivates the viewer by visual confrontation of what is there, as a mirror does.

“When I see you” offers a distinctive view on the complexities of human connections and conditions of multi-cultural characters in current Berlin.
