Synopsis
A young man, Jaxton (Mike Sarcinelli), is set up for a fight in an illegal underground tournament by the money-hungry coordinator, Valencia (Thal Gondim). After barely managing to defeat his opponent Biggs (Jarrell Pyro Johnson), he is paid out in cash and assigned for his next fight. He returns home to his sickly father, Walter (David Alan Graf), trying to convince him that he has almost raised the money necessary for his cancer treatments. Dismissive of his son’s intent, Walter urges Jaxton to focus on taking care of his little sister, Lizzy (Isabella Frangopol), and finding his own inner peace; his “10 seconds”. Unwilling to accept his father’s shattered will, Jaxton leaves to his training session with Charles (Michael Shaun Sandy), who insists that so long as he remembers his purpose as a warrior, there will never be an opponent that can defeat him in the ring. With his willpower restored, Jaxton reassures his weary sister that everything is going to be alright, however, as he faces off against his next foe, he comes to realize that his true enemy is far more fearsome than any contender.
