Synopsis

Yamar is a personal, surreal story of a supposedly normal working day in a mall in the suburbs. A meeting between two hostesses in their early thirties coming from an artistic background and a children’s entertainer leads to a tragicomic conflict. Yamar, literally ‘Hey ma’, is the name of a Caribbean song about what we become when we become adults.
