I first met fire-eater Insectavora when she performed at the Coney Island Circus Sideshow, and wondered what made her tick? They say that you can't judge a book by it's cover, and this turned out to be so true with Insectavora. I found her to be a very nice young woman, and very much into her artform.
The footage was shot in 2005, but something came up and we never finished her story. At the tail-end of 2018 I decided to take the footage I had and complete the film.
Strangely enough after many years, Insectavora has returned to the Coney Island Circus Sideshow as a cast member for the 2019 season.
