People worship law and God. But one truth remains: there is no law but self and God is an illusion. When the Ainsworth heir returns to claim her inheritance, she enters a house built on lies and blood. Inside, disciples of a shadow doctor stalk the halls, purging in the name of a doctrine older than prayer: one that whispers of an indifferent universe and a belief that kills.
