Cagliari, Italy, May 2016. The bodies of two university girls who disappeared in 1991 are found in a farmyard near the city. A deputy prosecutor and his assistant attempt to reconstruct the last weeks of the lives of these two colleagues and life partners, uncovering past abuses and acts of homophobia perpetrated by young delinquents living in the neighborhood. The investigators' investigations will intertwine with the girls' archaeological studies, as they rewrite the history of the giants of Mont'e Prama: ancient warriors from the Nuragic period.
