In the early hours of the morning, a woman sits alone in her kitchen. Unable to sleep, she gently rocks in her chair, trying to make sense of the past - a relationship marked by violence from her partner. The ordinary, everyday space of the home becomes a place of isolation and inner confrontation, where memories, guilt, and unanswered questions resurface.

Through minimal gestures and recurring actions, the video explores the psychological aftermath of domestic abuse: silence, insomnia, exhaustion, and the gradual erosion of self-worth. The repeated motif “USED // ABUSED // WORN OUT” reflects the protagonist’s inner state and the slow disintegration of her sense of safety and identity.

Instead of showing violence directly, the film focuses on its traces - on how trauma permeates everyday life and lingers in the body, memory, and the simplest gestures.

The music featured in the video is by Złe Oko, a solo project by Oslo-based artist Olga Borkowska Nelson. The song used in the video comes from the album CYKUTA.
