Synopsis
In a shadowy, specimen-filled laboratory, a young boy obsessed with taxidermy encounters the wandering soul of his grandfather—a former scientist living with Alzheimer’s. As they communicate through silent, fragmented notes, a parallel search by the boy's parents unfolds outside. Through surreal visuals and an elliptical narrative, "Specimen" explores the "emotional neglect" within modern family structures through the eyes of a child and an elder.
