Synopsis
While life flows in its ordinary course in a neighborhood, small and seemingly "harmless" lies have insidiously woven themselves into people's daily relationships. Rıdvan the shopkeeper bends the truth to his customer, Furkan to his girlfriend, people in the cafe to one another, and even a woman to her own reflection in the mirror. Everyone shares the same defense: "These aren't lies, everyone says them." However, every spoken word and every suppressed confession accumulates in an unseen place. The innocent questions of children and the adults sinking into silence symbolize the voice and courage lost as one grows up. The film opens and closes with a camera looking up from inside a grave; what is buried in the soil is not a body, but the truths people failed to speak. Lies pile up, grow heavy, and ultimately turn into a common silence shared by everyone.
