Vita, who has lost her taste for life, becomes a patient of the eccentric Dr. Korovin. He diagnoses her with a non-existent illness and sends her "for treatment" to a mysterious rural farm. There, under the guidance of the domineering Larisa, the "patients" pull weeds, carry water, and believe they are saving a cow from exploding. Gradually, the absurd labor and an encounter with the naive Glebushka become for Vita not a punishment, but a path to healing. The film is a parable that true recovery begins not with escaping reality, but with the ability to find wonder in everyday life.
