An astronaut named Shana has lived alone on a space station for many years. By chance, she comes to have a pet dog. Unexpectedly, the dog is actually an interstellar refugee named Guest, who came to Earth from another planet to seek shelter. After leaving Earth’s environment, Guest is able to return to his original form, which is both human-like and dog-like. Shana, who is all alone, and Guest, who has left his home behind, are two lonely souls of different species who both long for companionship, and together they begin a wonderful life in outer space.
