Wow...how low Mack Sennett and Andy Clyde sank to doing a god-awful short like "Monkey Business in Africa". It's truly terrible, cheap, and unfunny...a bad combination, that's for sure.When the story begins, an airplane flying over Africa runs out of gas and the filmmaker and his team are forced to bail out. Once on the ground, all sorts of unfunny hijinks occur...such as a fight with an obviously fake crocodile (and the live ones are actually American Alligators) and a guy in a gorilla suit that is about the most fake I've ever seen!Overall, not a laugh to be had in this badly made short...not even one.
