Synopsis
The town of Nassau acts the commercial hub for the Bahamas Islands, which consists of four thousand islands and keys. However, Georgetown takes center stage as the site of the Out Island Regatta, which unlike yacht races, starts at full anchor. Most of the sailboats participating are local built and captained, both geared toward local waters. Although spectators may see a calm affair, there is always action aboard the boats, their crews who must be aware of constant changes in conditions. It is a competitive race with some close calls, but there can only be one winner in each class. After the race, everyone is welcomed to join in the post race festivities before everyone heads home to plan and scheme for next year.
