Each filmmaker was assigned a specific date and given the props that were used in that window to use in their short. This is the thirteenth film in the series.

Four Feet Up invites us into the lives of this determined family, revealing an intimate and touching experience of child poverty in one of the world's richest nations.

Johan sits on a small jetty by the lake, deep in thought - he is struggling to find the words to say, or the actions to take. Joined by friends Anton and Julie, the trio cycle through the Swedish countryside, and as the sun begins to set, more friends enter the fray, bottles of beer are opened and guitars thrum as the group party into the night. But Johan is still deep in thought. When the sun eventually rises, Johan's fears have long since faded away.

The Earth

A small village of Vreoci in Serbia is about to be destroyed in order to extend the nearby mine. Most people do not want to leave their homes and have the church and cemetary where their ancestors are resting demolished. The state is convincing the inhabitants that this is good for their prosperity. Only time can tell.

Once in a Lullaby

"For as long as I can remember, The Wizard of Oz has been a film that has held a magical, mysterious grip on my imagination. What I find most intriguing is that people generally take the story to be a child's tale. For me, the film has always had an underlying darkness – an evil that runs deeper than the Wicked Witch and resides beneath the polished surface. In Once in a Lullaby, I strive to bring out this darkness and impart an altered version of Dorothy’s dream, which in this case is more of a beautiful nightmare. I recommend listening to it with a nice pair of headphones or versatile speakers."

Life becomes painfully clear and the strongest feeling of all is that we have each other now, not tomorrow. There may never be a tomorrow.
