In 2007 Picture This and Film London Artist's Moving Image Network commissioned Sick Serena and Dregs and Wreck and Wreck through the Bristol Mean Time residency. The film takes audiences into dark allegorical scenes depicting religious iconography, outmoded superstition, and slapstick comedy. Sick Serena employs imagery from British ecclesiastic stained glass to create a visually and conceptually rich, dense and multi-layered film. The work references Pier Paolo Pasolini's controversial 1963 short film La Ricotta, for which he was imprisoned for blasphemy on the basis of 'enacting' a religious scene as a comedy sketch. The scenes that unfold invoke both a sense of unease and amusement.

There is no freedom of movement, houses remain occupied and children are assigned to schools based on their ethnicity. Everybody wants to look towards the future; however, the pain of the past is still very present, making Kosovo the last scar of the Balkans.

Ayan sees her pictures on the covers of magazines. She thinks Murad is cheating on her and using her. Taking this as another betrayal, Ayan returns to Baku. But this time, it is different. She is welcomed as a famous singer in her hometown.

"Oil, Smoke & Mirrors" offers a sobering critique of our perceived recent history, of our present global circumstances, and of our shared future in light of imminent, under-reported and mis-represented energy production constraints. While the ideas presented in this film can at first seem daunting, it's ultimate assertion is that these challenges can indeed be met and surpassed, if, but only if, we can find the courage to perceive them.

Umfeld is an audiovisual production created in HD with audio meticulously composed for 5.1 channel surround. The work portrays a series of environments; moreover, it’s a world on its own where sound and image blend together, synthesizing a highly unique spatial experience. The piece is an intense audiovisual expedition that takes the audience through eight chapters comprising a drama drawing on the dynamic arc of a feature film, but consisting of highly abstract sounds and images.
