They come to meet a middle aged lady, Shizuko, who is running away with a large sum of money, and an ex-cop, Goh, who repeatedly attempts suicide, and they spend a night together - Homesick is a road movie set in late autumn in Hokkaido, and it illustrates people's homesickness with black humour.
