Gilubong ang Akon Pusod sa Dagat explores the relevance of the sea and its relationship and impact on those who use it as a source of livelihood. Through a three-channel video projection, the work proffers varying scenes and perspectives in simultaneity, briskly balancing alternating rhythms in settings and emotions throughout its duration. In addition to reflecting the Philippines’ historical and geographical relationship with the ocean, it brings the sea into its contemporary reality, as a metaphor of necessity and opportunity, and of community and isolation.

It's Christmas again: family, presents, parties... the worst time of the year for Steve. Driving through New York City for the horrid Christmas Eve dinner, his car breaks down and he accidentally stumbles upon a gruesome crime scene.

One of the pieces from an ongoing psychedelic/ambient video project "Sibyl". "Sibyl" was inspired in part by the spirit of 1970's progressive rock concept albums, ancient Greek mythology, and shamanic ritual. It will consist of several short videos. Each piece will be autonomous, albeit part of a greater whole. The final number of videos and the total length is still to be determined. Each video in the series will be released as it is completed. All pieces will be directed and produced by Yoshi Sodeoka. Music will be composed in collaboration between Yoshi Sodeoka and Daron Murphy.

In Birmingham in 2010 the police covertly erected 200 CCTV cameras for ‘Project Champion’ – an anti-terrorist initiative targeting Muslims - which incensed members of the communities it was ring fencing. This documentary is the story of how Project Champion was successfully opposed by community and civil rights activists.

Pierre Creton placed his camera opposite the small black table that had always stood in the middle of the lawn facing the front of the house. He filmed himself gardening – potting plants, preparing cuttings. Cat, dog, donkey, hens are moving about, playing, resting around the table, the goat is prancing on the table top, the whole menagerie is living its life, crossing the frame freely. On these images of perfect insouciance, he edited the sound of a radio news report about the Fukushima disaster. The date is March 2011: here, the garden, the end of winter and the pleasure of plunging one’s hand into the earth, touching the plants, to prepare for spring’s arrival; over there, death, sky and sea contaminated for many years, untouchable. The garden is not at odds with the disaster provided it heeds its echo, albeit unwillingly. The garden table is also the altar where domestic rituals are performed to ward off the horror.

The true story of a brave missionary and her battle to rescue young girls in India from being sold into prostitution and create a safe haven for them.

The documentary is about the British Choreographer Royston Maldoom (OBE) and his work on the Community Dance Piece that he created with children, teenagers and adults in Germany's city Detmold in 2010. It's a film about the educational power of dance.

Visionaries intoxicated by the smell of coffee start to dream, and eventually end up sinking into a bottomless black sea. This silent short was filmed in 8mm during the director's first visit to Europe in the summer of 2011, and hand-developed using a homemade coffee-based developer. Colours were added by painting directly onto the film.

Peixonauta and his friends Marina and Zico will talk a little about healthy eating, acceptance of differences and preservation of the environment. Let's have fun with lots of music and dancing.

In Blue Desert, Seoungho Cho transforms a sublime natural landscape into a stunning abstraction through precise electronic manipulation. Writes Cho: "Blue Desert is one in a series of ongoing visual struggles with Death Valley, a specific desert landscape which I have worked with since 1992. It is also not the last piece, as I have every intention to continue producing works about Death Valley. Death Valley has been quite simply my favorite place on the earth since my first visit in 1992."
