Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) is the largest First Nation police force in North America. Police officers in this severely underfunded police force go above and beyond the call of duty when compared to other police officers. NAPS officer duties include, cutting firewood for the wood stove that heats the police detachment and emptying slop buckets with prisoners’ urine and excrement. "A Sacred Calling" shows the deplorable working conditions and the devastating personal consequences to NAPS officers as they heroically provide security and safety to First Nation communities in the remote north of Ontario.

Designed by Thomas Jefferson to represent the “authority of nature and the power of reason,” the Rotunda is the physical and symbolic center of the University of Virginia, founded by Jefferson in 1824 as the first secular Liberal Arts university in America. Composer Judith Shatin and filmmaker Robert Arnold have created a portrait of the Rotunda that combines its timeless majesty with the ever-changing hum of daily life. Sounds and images recorded over the course of an entire year from season to season, are presented as a single day, from dawn to sunset.

In the night of November 14, 2006, a Castor transport drove to the Gorleben interim storage facility. Some opponents of nuclear power are protesting on the streets. They are faced with a large contingent of police. Also in May 2007, at the meeting of the G-8 states in Heiligendamm, the demonstrators were confronted with an enormous police presence. Andree Korpys and Markus Löffler documented the two events.

Super-8 film of night and daytime cityscapes and illuminations, collected over several years and spliced together into a split-screen collage. The work is a mixture of home movie found footage, offcuts from various projects and specially filmed sequences, and has an electronic soundtrack to compliment the cut up collage style.

The second episode from the "Mystic Tube" series ascertains the variations of "transitions of the reverberations as the sound sources are moved" with continuing the same basic simple plot of "pilgrims pass through a tunnel, playing music as they make their way to their destination". This episode is about the four pilgrims who are led into a high-key sunbeam. The drones and Mevrevic riff in three different folk flutes (Quena, Shinobue, Suling) are intoxicated under the interference of the fluorescences, still, the four continue with their pilgrimage.

Echagh (The Well) is a research film on a Tuareg Fraction called Igorareine. They live in a locality called Echgah situated to 40 km in the northest from Gao, nothern Mali. They basically look after sheep, goats, camels, cattle, and have been practising a nomadic life for generations. Nowadays, some of them are about to leave this ancestral way of life due to many loss of animals caused by the desertification of the Sahara. That is how they settled in the surrounding of a colonial well, called Echgh in 1988. A decade later, they created a primary school for their children. Since then, they are thinking about another way of life. But it should be noticed that this newly introduced school system is subject of many interpretations in Echagh. Some of them believes in other opportunities that school may bring about. In contrast others see it as a device which threatens their traditional way of life. Within such a divergent context, the film explores the life choices of three kids.

When love is true, no one can ever separate it.

There are elegant ladies as well as poor pensioners among them. Burdened with shopping bags, day and night, regardless of the weather and time of the year, they visit parks, cemeteries and secluded places. These are ‘cat ladies’, considered as weirdos by some and angels of good by others. Maybe these women feeding homeless cats are trying to fill an empty space in their lives or satisfy their maternal instincts. Before the camera they philosophize, sing old songs and tell stories of love, fear and lost opportunities. One character argues with her husband with whom she shares nothing but a love of cats. They all speak of their pets with fondness and affection and have a name for each of them. Łoziński has managed to paint a portrait of women who have found an aim at the end of their lives.
