A field of high-tension wires completes the contemplative excursions needed to help him adjust to his new implant that will eventually help him hear. The final piece in a trilogy of single-channel works on hearing loss.

It has been found that plants of downtown areas produced more carbon dioxide than they absorbed from the atmosphere and leaded air pollution to be deteriorated. Trees changed their growth pattern to stand the heat of hot weather because of unusual above-average temperatures. Now the natural food chain starts the counter-cycle. This film should serve as a warning to continuous environmental destruction by showing the counter-cycle of transformed creature against natural food chain.

The “story” can be reduced to three structural elements: a man, a woman, a gun. All the narrative possibilities that could occur in this situation are shifted through in the film’s 7 minute, 50 second span, the actors reciting their dialogue in a deadpan monotone that markedly contrasts with the melodramatic flavor of the words they are speaking, thus highlighting the artificiality of the filmic situation and exposing its constructedness—the very thing that mainstream cinemas typically strive to conceal.

The film begins to move and a voice says: "Ich sterbe", then : "Je meurs" ("I'm dying"). A movie is said to move when the moves through the projection mechanism. Life is said to move on; there's also moving on for expiring in the sense of dying. A brief and interminable text, said by Chekhov and written by Sarraute, that Negro returns to us on an amnesiac image. This tale goes from Chekhov to Sarraute to Negro up to where we are - a body, before a page, a screen, a face. It's interminable. (Marie Muracciole)

In this part, I'm dealing with the relationship of the Kabyles with the dream of elsewhere. To reach that aim, I shot a lot in Kabilye, and also in other countries. Through superimposition, the approach between the positive and the negative, tape-to-film work, a research into colour and some very tight editing in which I intercalate some articles about the kabyle cauldron, as well as other effects, I try to give shape to these visions of an elsewhere, that are passing, changeable, often false. While printing the film, I worked a lot on the diaphragm, going voluntarily from overexposure to underexposure, in order to render the blindness (that is the fever) and the ignorance of some populations about this elsewhere that they believe is an El Dorado.

He always tries to do the right thing, help people and does what he can to stop the wrong in the world. To Chris, homosexuality is wrong; he darkens the world of the two girls when he forbids Isabelle from seeing Annie again.
