Nif Fin is an experimental film about the end of a film with actress Carmen Sevilla as the leading role. Retaking the last shots through out of focus, this structural found footage piece recycles the original footage, by means of changing his narrative continuity. It misrepresents the cause-effect pattern to propose a new ending that challenges the notion of happy ending.

America's Game: 1986 New York Giants

The New York Giants hadn't won an NFL championship in 30 years before Bill Parcells' led them to two Super Bowl victories in five years. In 1986 the Giants were loaded. On defense, Lawrence Taylor, considered by many to be the best outside linebacker ever to play the game, won the NFL MVP Award. He and middle linebacker, Harry Carson, both future Hall of Famers, led an overwhelming defense. On offense, the Giants were led by tight end Mark Bavaro, 1500 yard rusher, Joe Morris and quarterback Phil Simms, a good quarterback who had yet to prove he could be great. In Super Bowl XXI he did just that with a precision passing game that is unmatched as the Giants defeated the Broncos 39-20

Capitalism: Slavery

In Capitalism: Slavery, Jacobs uses a Victorian stereograph (a double-photograph) of slaves picking cotton under the watchful eye of a white overseer as the source for this wrenching silent work. Through digital manipulation, Jacobs creates a haunting illusion of depth and movement. It is as if he has "entered" the image and reactivated this historical moment; he moves among the figures and isolates individuals, creating a stuttering, pulsing effect that suggests motion even as it animates stasis.

In honor of educator Paulo Freire , the Ministry of Education (MEC), through the Department of Distance Education (Seed), launches the documentary "Paulo Freire contemporaneous", by Toni Venturi. According to the director, the video takes up the origins of the first experiences of literacy and popular education developed by Paulo Freire and shows how his thinking and pedagogy are still present today. This is not just a memory movie. The documentary shows situations in which the Freirean teaching model is used today. People are unaware of actions that drank from that fountain. The film updates Paulo Freire and shows how he took root in many segments of society

The film focuses on identity and discrimination in the daily lives of transgendered Brazilians living in São Paulo. Fabia Mirassos projects her life through the role of Meg, a transsexual hairdresser confronting intolerance and re-living memories of abuse. Savana 'Bibi' Meirelles plays Zilda who makes her living as one of the many transgendered sex workers in São Paulo, as she struggles to find her way out of prostitution.

The story of Dwight Core, Jr. and his family, following up the events of the home documentary "Think of Me First as a Person", shot decades ago by his father Dwight Core, Sr. and portraying the love a boy with Down syndrome shares with his four sisters, but also a heartache common to the era's disabled: leaving home for an institution. The little boy, Dwight Core, Jr., grew into a tall, 48-year-old man who enjoyed coloring and watching television in the living room of the Ocean View section of Norfolk, Virginia home he shared with one of his sisters, Cindy Klingler. In 2007, filmmaker Roger M. Richards brought the story of Dwight Core, Jr. to the present, documenting him as a grown man and the continuing love and devotion of his sisters to their brother.
