Two distinct idylls: one of summer, one of winter. Accompanied by appropriate music (the sonatas are not silent), each one moves through a period of time and place. Summer takes place in my first primarily annual garden. Joanna McClure is seen moving among the brilliant annual flower colors. Winter is a misty, mood-filled exploration of the Sonoma County hills and small lakes. The time is somewhere around 1985 and is a true document of a part of what was happening in my life at that time (Canyon Cinema)

Sonny, an eight year old boy, is sent away from home because his father believes he has characteristics that could lead to homosexuality. After twenty four years of treatment and psychiatric institutions, Sonny returns home for a funeral, and attempts to save his seven year old niece from experiencing a similar fate.

In 1967, four unknown actors in a kids TV show became the biggest pop band in the world. In America, they outsold Elvis and The Beatles combined. They were The Monkees. But The Monkees were not a real band, they were a man-made money making machine, driven by ego and ambition. A machine that would ultimately crash and burn. This is the inside story of pop music's first manufactured band.

Gravesend uses a documentary approach to focus on the mining of coltan, employed in the manufacture of cell phones, laptops and other high-tech apparatus. The film cuts between two sites: a technological, highly automated industrial plant in the West where the precious metal is processed for the final production of microelectronic parts, and the central Congo, where miners use simple shovels or their bare hands to extract, wash and collect the ore on leaves. IThe realism of the film images is intercut with a black-and-white animation of the Congo River. Its sinuous shape conjures associations with networking and the flow of communications, underscored by a murmuring resembling thousands of voices in the cell phone network. In the meantime, coltan, traded at an extremely high price, represents one of the key financial factors in the armed conflict of the militia in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where decades of civil war have cost several million human lives.

A four-part making-of documentary about Scorcese’s 1995 Vegas crime epic Casino featured in physical media releases and split into sections on the Story, the Cast and Characters, the Look and After the Filming.

Invited for a anniversary celebration, Kindaichi, Miyuki and inspector Kenmochi re-visit the Opera House. There they discover that a play of "The Phantom of the Opera" is being rehearsed again. However, it doesn't take long when members of the acting troupe are killed by the "Phantom". Kindaichi will once again have to solve a murder series in the Opera House.

It is 1985 and a Cold War is raging between East and West. A young woman named Carmen, while attempting to smuggle Bibles into Romania, is captured by communist forces. Unfortunately, Carmen’s father was a Soviet Nuclear Physicist who became disillusioned with the system and defected to the West. Now, the Soviets are determined to force Carmen’s father to turn himself over to them in exchange for her life. The United States government, determined not to let the Soviets regain one of their scientists, decides to send in a lone agent to rescue her, to make sure that America does not have to pay the smuggler’s ransom.

Under the sunny sky, Buneary, Buizel, Pachirisu, Piplup, Turtwig, Aipom, and Pikachu are running across a grassy field. Pachirisu rides on a beach ball down the hill, and then Piplup rides on the beach ball afterwards. Aipom knocks Piplup off of the ball and Piplup chases after Aipom.
