Originally begun as an Organhouse production in 1991-1994 with a small cut portion into a short film for a NYC film festival in 2006. Film was shot in Mexico and northern New Mexico, everything was originally analog. The film was shot with super 8 cameras using a Beaulieu 4008 and Bauer C2-A later transferred for digital playback.

In this episode of the Whispering Pines series, Moulton's character Cynthia is confronted with a distorted mirror image that slips between the grotesque and the exotic, depending on her posture. While Cynthia performs her nose-pore cleaning routine in front of the mirror, a sphinx appears and sings a song from the animated movie "The Last Unicorn," which laments becoming a woman.

Women of Tibet: Gyalyum Chemo - The Great Mother recounts the compelling story of Dekyi Tsering, the mother of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Dekyi Tsering, known by Tibetans as 'Gyalyum Chemo' or 'Great Mother,' gave birth to 16 children, three of whom were recognized as incarnate lamas. Weaving anecdotal threads and personal reflections from her children, grandchildren, and friends, with never before seen photographs from their family collections and rare footage of Tibet, the film offers an intimate glimpse into Tibet's first family and the woman who inspired them. His Holiness talks about how his mother helped shape the man he is today and the relationship between healthy family and healthy humanity, and how it all begins with a mothers love.

Amidst its garish neon lights, eight-lane superhighways and Blade Runner-esque skyscrapers, that's Shanghai today. No other city in the world has experienced the incredible velocity of change that has occurred in Shanghai since 1990 - the year Deng Xiaopeng gave his official blessing for the city to re-emerge as China's trading and financial center. Since Shanghai's re-birth, more than 4,000 new skyscrapers have been built (with another 300 currently under construction). Its population has increased by 23 percent to 16.4 million, making it the world's fifth largest metropolis. And its economy has grown at an annual rate often double that of China's turbo-charged national average of 7-8 percent.

In this short film, the single patent-leather shoe of a young girl is prominently featured in various rural locations, creating striking imagery that contrasts innocence with solitude while evoking themes of desire and vulnerability.

Evil.5: Grin and Bear (No Responsibility Mix) continues Cokes’s investigation of the uses of appropriated text and pop music as a form of political critique. Employing a deliberately didactic approach, Cokes challenges the Bush administration’s policies and the war in Iraq. Statements on the Iraq war and Bush’s “war on terror” by Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, and Richard Clarke, among others, are displayed as on-screen text against flat bands of colour. The graphic presentation and accompanying pop soundtrack suggest the strategies of commercial advertising.
