Magie blanche recounts moments in a young girl’s day, on her 13th birthday, a Friday the 13th… This film was produced as part of the 2nd Montreal Super 8 Festival, whose very simple rule was to shoot a single 50’ reel, with no post-editing. Special effects and editing were therefore created in camera, as the film was being shot.

Le Tombeau d'Aphrodite (Version 5)

Starting from waste from the pornographic film industry of the seventies of the last century which I first sent to rot in a basin of water before passing the film through a Truca-JK type optical printer. MTK Workshop, The tomb of Aphrodite was transformed not into gold but into a profane epiphany of colors to illuminate our silver nights with colored lights.

The Class

The Class is a video work in which Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook lectures corpses about death in what seems to be a kind of classroom. It was filmed in an actual hospital morgue in Chiang Mai, with unclaimed dead bodies playing the role of the six "students" in the class. The work is a performance in which the artist tries to understand death by lecturing the dead about death, with the lecture offering various definitions of death from different perspectives. Araya at times talks directly to the cadavers, encouraging them to share their own views and experiences, and communicating with them in the same way she would with living people. This attitude demonstrates her attempt to confront something that society has overlooked as well as social taboos and cultural discrimination, and the religious and cultural values that involve death.

The Centre For Genetic Admiration, the most advanced and least regulated reproductive facility in the world, and SeaWorld, whose architecture is the third trimester female body, playing host to the Ultra Sound Classic.

Billy Talent: Scandalous Travelers

The DVD holds bonus material which features live performances of "This Is How It Goes," "Cut The Curtains", "Line and Sinker", "Living In The Shadows", and rare acoustic sets of "Standing In The Rain," "Lies" and "Try Honesty." On December 7, 2004, the DVD sold over 10,000 in Canada, earning Platinum certification by "CRIA".
