She denies it at first but then milks it by getting £50k for a "confession" to a Sunday paper - a confession she says the papers twisted. However, her denials were for naught when a sex tape showing the whole thing hit the internet. However, getting the profits from that film when it was released on dvd, Abi also found herself in demand from the tabloids and men's magazine. Owning half the rights to the photographs is a nice earner for her, along with the publicity do's, the calendars

The Dawn is Your Enemy was a sign-off bump that was shown on Adult Swim between 2005 and 2010. The point of the bumper was to scare children as a punishment for staying up too late and watching the block, hence why it would appear early in the morning. The bumper shows a pencil sketch style image of a pair of human-like eyes gazing over a field covered with flowers, trees and in the distance a sun with a face is seen.

The protagonist wakes up in a sick bed and gets up. He wears a white doctor's coat, including only hospital underpants and anti-thrombosis stockings. He walks like a dream through a cold, tiled environment and finally opens a door where he secretly observes an autopsy.

An 18-minute documentary made in 2005 by perennial Hartley actor D.J. Mendel, reunites the director and line producer Ted Hope with actors Adrienne Shelly and Martin Donovan for an off-the-cuff, affectionate, and surprisingly candid (it was hardly an easy shoot) recollection of their collaboration on the demanding Hartley's second feature.
