Shot throughout Asia over a nine-year period, Stupaform gathers into one moment the myriad manifestations of the Buddhist stupa, or pagoda. Stupaform oscillates between the inner and outer aspects of this symbol of transcendence, distilling an essence. The actual structures become electronic phenomena, apparitions of the stupa’s inner form. The sound of a Nepalese bell follows this vector; a physical reflection of an unstruck vibration. Dance, Voldo, Dance is a machinima-based music video produced in 2002 by Chris Brandt. The video, created using the fighting game Soulcalibur, features two players both controlling the character Voldo, using existing in-game animation to have the characters perform a synchronized dance to the song "Hot in Herre" by musician Nelly. The result of over a week's full-time preparation and training, the video was conceived after Brandt noticed the character's animations and attacks could be triggered in sync with the beat of a song, and the reactions of onlookers to such a display. While several groups demonstrated interest in showcasing the video, complications arose from the copyright holders whose works were involved in creation.

Tanyabi's Lake

Tanyabi, a pretty damsel, lived in Chakma village on the bank of rivulet Chengi. She was deeply in love with a poor young man, Punang chan. But, her parents get her married to a rich old man in a distant village. The river Chengi, was so grief-stricken, that it changed its course by nearly one kilometre and the old dried up course was gradually filled up the grieving Tanyabi’s tears and thus a lake was formed, where she drowned herself to death. The Chakmas sing of it as a folk tale even today.
