ROSA ROT gives two frameworks and two points of view: the abstract one, of a free inner thought as manifested by the visual immersion in a piece of landscape subject to constant change, striated by gales mingled with the incessant fall of thick snowflakes - and that, concrete, wider and distanced but in the same axis of this landscape crossed by the fixed frame of a window, which brings us back to a state of physical confinement while reading Rosa Luxemburg's letter from prison gives further evidence. As proof that no prison hinders freedom of thought.

It is criticized that the resident card, which has been implemented since 1968, is in fact only a fascistic system of state power to classify and control the people. Fingerprinting is the most essential part of the control process, and the work explains that only after completing the humiliating fingerprinting process can you enjoy your rights and duties as a 'citizen'. The director is a person who has participated in the opposition to fingerprinting since May 2000. The movement of the work follows Lee's struggle leading up to the administrative lawsuit, intersecting the arguments of the government and the logic of opponents of the resident card.

Lovesong 3

Three qualities of hand- painted imagery inter-weave throughout this film: (1) a mash of thick lines delineating colored shapes, (2) thin black lines, like drawings, which most suggest recognizable body-parts, and (3) globs of pure color at inter-play with each other. An irregularity of rhythm (produced by repetition of frames 2, 3 and 4 times) creates the sense of a driving force propelling the inter-weave of these essentially abstract displays: three-fourths of the way through the rhythmic intensity falters, 'breaks down' as it were, almost becomes a mockery of its earlier sexual regularity. Instead of variety midst regular beat, the forms suggest some loose variance. Two formal factors seem to 'save the day,' as it were: (1) an increase of beseeming textures, and (2) interruptive white flashes; and these create a meaningful (rhythmically and tonally coherent) ending.

Brigadier General Stanley M. Ulanoff, a widely decorated military historian who served with the Counterintelligence Corps in Europe during World War II, introduces this gripping documentary film. At 7:55 AM on Sunday, December 7th, 1941, which FDR called "a date which will live in infamy," the Japanese began an air attack that devastated the Pacific fleet and took the lives of 2,343 servicemen. Lt. Cmdr. John Ford skillfully blends historic action with studio shots in this Oscar-winning look at the day's events. Also included is The Fleet That Came to Stay, concerning the invasion of Okinawa.
