This short documentary features children aged 5 to 12 talking about their experiences with bullying and discrimination because they or their families do not fit into traditional gender and family roles. This film explores the contemporary diversity of families from kids' points of view, while featuring short animated sequences about the history of derogatory slang.

Imagine that the camera is possessed with a psychosis similar to human schizophrenia; suppose that this disease subtly changes every single frame of film while leaving the narrative superficially intact. A reworking of 1941 MGM version of Jekyll and Hyde in which the actors are replaced in every single frame.

Summer 1999, in the center of Vienna: two very distinct parades took place simultaneously on the same street. One was a policemen's parade; the other a celebration of gay pride. Because the policemen didn't want to march hand in hand with the Gay Movement, a typical Austrain solution was found: while the gays marched clockwise, the policemen marched counter-clockwise.

Alison was born without arms and a short body. She has a strong way of dealing with the extreme challenge of living life with all her physical disadvantages, and her resolve to make the most of her life is indeed inspiring. We follow Alison's unfolding life before, during and after the birth of her son Parys.

The object of her sexual desire was the shape of a man first, then the man changed into the object of her horror. She ran away and was shut in her space. She felt so lonely that she was satisfied with the sexual behavior with her body by herself. Eventually she woke up.

'Gästgivargår'n' depicts a restaurant at the foot of Kinnekulle dating back to the 1500s. There, restaurateur Stefan Johansson runs an inn based on local ingredients.

The second, of these companion films (interspersed by a "Technicolor+ countdown") introduces The Movies (Narrative Dramatic Scenes briefly flickering midst hypnogogic-painting) in addition to the closed-eye vision and language combination of Night Mulch. "Subversive" and "Liberating" are repeated, but "Liberating" actually seems to be withdrawing (zooming away) in the mixture of paints. To emphasize The Movies, these is a brief tribute to the actor Michael Caine. The resolution of these contesting 'force-fields; of visual thought (as I imagine them) is a sense of distinction of hypnagogic over and above Photography (or Picture-i. e. a collector of framed named things) as well as the words/names themselves.

Many bikes are totally unique, personalized machines built by motorcycle enthusiasts. The leading young builder in America is Jesse James; he's a descendant of the famous outlaw and possesses the same renegade spirit. Jesse's lean and mean choppers have brought him worldwide attention and much deserved respect. For two weeks, Discovery Channel will take viewers behind the garage doors of Jesse's shop as he prepares several bikes that he hopes will be ready for unveiling at Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Fla. Over 600,000 bikers with scrutinizing eyes will be in attendance, serving as a major marketing event for Jesse and other builders. With so many bikes to finish, including his own, will Jesse make the deadline? Will the bikes be the masterpieces he seeks? The clock is ticking and Jesse has much to do!

How a tribe in the jungle of Papua New Guinea contacted the outside world with a desire to convert to Christianity.

The shots were taken during a four-hour performance in the forest ('Bio-striptease' by Katia Feltrin), where snails devour a dress of lettuce sewn directly on the skin. The plant tissue gradually disappears, leaving only a structure of threads. The film chews the rhythm of the performance to digest it into a condensed of tight images, crushed between the blur and the net, and which burst under the voracious eye of the gastropod.

Children of the Secret State follows Ahn Chol, a 29-year-old North Korean man who escaped from the country in 1997 by swimming across a river to China after his parents died of starvation. Chol has slipped back into North Korea several times since 1997 with a hidden camera to reveal a side of the communist nation that its government tries to hide from the outside world. In the documentary, viewers are exposed to many gruesome realities, including a food supply only available on the black market and small children fending for themselves to survive, scooping up spilled rice and corn.

If this suggestion be followed out, it will become surprisingly clear how each and every building reveals itself naked to the eye; how its every aspect, to the smallest detail, to the lightest move of the hand, reveals the workings of the mind of the man who made it, and who is responsible to us for it.”
