John and Jenny Wu are a Chinese couple who run a takeaway pizza shop in Sydney's inner west. Their four-year-old daughter, Emily, was born with profound disabilities. EMILY'S EYES is a poignant and compelling story of love and survival. At a time when tolerance in Australia is being eroded by a proportion of society frightened by inevitable change it is also a passionate plea for acceptance of a difference and a celebration of social change and cultural diversity.

In the Drakensberg mountains of South Africa, the black eagle rules the skies. The solitary caracal is a night hunter and one of the most efficient cats on earth. The rival predators compete for the same prey. When an early spring brings the promise of abundance, a pair of black eagles takes a gamble. With a two month-old eaglet still on the nest, Emoyeni and Quatele mate again. For the first time ever recorded, black eagles attempt to breed twice in one season. The second clutch will be born as the summer grows hotter and hotter. The following winter, we return to find that nature has restored itself. Our pair of eagles is on the nest with not two but three newly hatched chicks. Last season, they were the first black eagles known to attempt double-brooding. Now, they are the first on record to have three chicks in one clutch. Emoyeni and Quatele are very ambitious birds.

A detective-mystery movie adapted from Edgar Allan Poe's 'Purloined Letter' that purposely forgets the central premise of the story: the invisibility of hiding something obviously in plain sight. Using anything and everyone at hand - an art dealer, a fashion editor, an actress, a poet, a museum of natural history, a junkyard dog, pigeons, a defunct ferry - the video takes the potential impatience that lurks behind every act of plotting and atomizes it into a frayed network of fleeting thoughts and impulses, a delicate narrative that ends like a magic trick in a puff of smoke.

The Cabbage Patch Kids are putting on a Christmas play at school and Vernon's younger cousins Amy and Henry are visiting for the holidays. When Missy & Prissy inadvertently imply that Santa is on vacation and will not show up for Christmas, Amy and Henry go to Vernon for reassurance. Vernon promises them that Santa will visit them on Christmas night. As time goes on Vernon becomes worried that Santa may be delayed and decides, with the help of the other kids to hatch a plan to ensure that Amy and Henry do see Santa.

This is a collection of rarely seen early avi films - primarily using relatively primitive techniques of scratch video then Adobe Premiere editing, resulting in a particular lo-fi look which isn't particularly intentional, but reflective of the process. "Music Of Your Own" and "Burning" originally existed as audio-only pieces on the "Thermos Explorer" album (2000), and since the audio was originally sourced from film it was later possible to recreate the stories in visual form.

Organics begins with the observation of a Zorro mask and a distorted / veiled woman's face. A shot of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris develops into a women's foot scene which leads to a longer kiss scene punctuated by an explosion, falling leaves, a tank, touching hands, a hand in a plaster cast, bunches of grass and a dark cellar door. After observation of a skeleton detail, the found footage actors become involved in slowly feeling each others body. A man swings a necklace back and forth like a pendulum, a head being bandaged, attempts at face make-up, details of operations... in a flickering, pumping screen light until, in the end, "Hey Joe" centres the picture briefly with his penis. After the hand movements which follow, the veiled face of a woman appears again, longer this time, to be observed by "Hey Joe" until the film floodlight is turned off.

Brasília, the "city of hope", "the ultimate utopia of the 20th century" , is being conserved as a cultural heritage today. It is a place as old as the filmmaker. Segments of amateur footage and of feature films shot on location in the early sixties are inserted in his 1998 travelogue. The utopian city as represented in "Vacancy" is a place abandoned from its inhabitants, a museum kept alive by its staff only.

A rough-cut of selected scenes, edited as a sampler to be used in fundraising towards completion of the film "Undesirables". “The idea started with a casual comment made by Stan Brakhage, must have been way back in the early 1970s. It stuck in my mind. Now that I think about it, Brakhage may have meant this as a joke. He said, “Someday Hollywood will probably make a film about us,” ‘us’ meaning the experimental filmmakers “and I wonder which actors will play us?” Think about that first of all: the idea that Hollywood would make a film about experimental filmmakers is totally ridiculous. The fact that one would think about which actor was going to play me at some time in the future, I think that’s very funny. Eventually it germinated in my mind and I thought it was an interesting idea… A film about experimental filmmakers, especially in the very formative period, approximately 1968 to 1972.

Like every year, Inès takes the train to Mont-de-Marsan to spend a week's holiday with her grandmother. But this time around, things do not happen as usual. First, Granny is late to the appointment outside the station. And when she finally arrives, she looks strange, seems to have difficulty in finding her way back home and mostly seems to be hiding something for her granddaughter...

Commissioned for the film event exibition on the subject of the "Apocalysm" in cinema, this found footage film is essentialy constructed around the strongly altered images of ball-trap sequences for a demonstration film on fire-arms, humorously juxtaposed to images of innocence illustrated by children type drawings on seasonal tales and by fragments of two advertisings films : one on a natural reservation in the Seychelles Islands; the other, a "cartoon", for raincoats, related to the biblical flood.

Sink is set in Tomioka’s brightly coloured yet worn and grubby surreal world, where on this occasion we see commuter trains packed with deep sea divers reading pornography. Sealed off behind their protective shells from any real human contact, the commuters are clearly inspired by Tomioka’s experiences on Tokyo’s underground but perhaps represent everyone who shuts themselves away behind iPods, computers and books, afraid of real face-to-face human interaction.
