Nakoruru finds her and then struggles to peacefully defend her from her pursuers, which include Haohmaru, Galford, and Asura.

The story really begins when, after a few years, the elf-like angel finds the girl and tries to convince her to return the extra blue heart he gave her. At birth, her situation is already complicated: in her kingdom, the Salic law prevails, so the king passes his baby girl off as a boy to prevent unscrupulous nobles from seizing power.

After finishing his mother's funeral, his brother Ryosuke (Honda Kikuo) and younger brother Kenji (Ebata Hidehisa) go out into the city at night, remembering the emptiness and loneliness. On the other hand, Haruyo (Hazuki Tae) is his wife, Haruyo (Hazuki Tae), who is a man-oriented Ryosuke, who is a man-oriented woman, who is out of the house, reunites with her high school boyfriend at a hot spring inn where she works and warms up old friendships.

Amber City

A portrait of an unnamed city in Italy. Sidestepping the tourist attractions that make the city famous, the film/video posits an almost-imaginary place that draws closer to the reality of its inhabitants. Using a voiceover narration that collages direct observation, literary texts, historical fact, local folklore, and a bit of sheer fabrication, the film/video melds documentary and narrative, past and present. Visuals range from verite street footage, to formal portraits of residents, to an unusual type of time lapse cinematography that allows filming in the low-intensity light of night landscapes and museum interiors. Made in collaboration with local residents and institutions, Amber City reflects on the "in-betweeness" of places whose historical and geographical location renders their reality strangely invisible.
