In October 1984, peformance artist/filmmaker extraordinaire, Jack Smith was coaxed out of his New York apartment for a five night run of performances held at the Funnel Experimental Film Theatre in Toronto, Canada. The performance, entitled: “Brassieres of Uranus” consisted of a number of local artists on stage creating brassieres out of plastic flowerpots. The event culminated on Halloween with the finale “Dance of the Sacred Foundation Application” performed to the music of the Seven Veils. This footage is one of the few remaining film documents of this memorable event.

Flesh Colored Crayons was completed in 1992. This film includes an array of animated scenes and sporadic phrases flashing on screen. The scenes are all quite different, beginning with dogs, ducks and people in a park, and continuing with a cowboy placing a revolver in his mouth. One of the longer animated scenes includes an outline of what appears to be Jesus Christ filled in with drawings of a rocket ship, a bull’s eye, Albert Einstein, and more. Some of the phrases that flash throughout the film include: “jogging my memory”, “the year was 1953,” “abort”, and “you can’t dance naked in Indiana”.

This 1992 video highlights Dan Graham's installation Two-Way Mirror Cylinder Inside Cube and a Video Salon, originally created as part of the Rooftop Urban Park Project at the Dia Center for the Arts in 1991. The video documents and further explores Graham's investigations of the urban environment, from Abbe Laugier's theory of the Rustic Hut to Parisian shopping arcades, wintergardens, museums, Disneyland and corporate office buildings. For the Dia Center in New York City, Graham developed an environment, analogous to a small-scale urban park, which integrates aesthetic and utilitarian functions, and spatial and visual experiences, bringing the landscape into the roof and extending the roof into the landscape. Graham writes: "The pavilion structures are psychologically and socially self-reflective. There is a dialectic between the perception of oneself and other bodies perceiving themselves, making the spectator conscious of him or herself as a body.
