Medusa Raw, Shawna Dempsey and Lorri Millan’s first video, is a re-telling of the classical Medusa myth from the Medusa’s perspective.

An arid landscape in which various people move around: a girl walks along holding a goldfish in a glass of water, children have fun with an empty bath tub, people at their window observe what’s happening. And finally, rain. Drought is treated with realism and oneirism in the filmmaker’s first work, made when she was still a film student.

An associative and imaginative love affair with water, the sea and the freedom that can be found there. An old woman lies in her bathtub and dreams of another time and place. Weightlessness and light interact with the darkness that lies beneath the surface.

The images seem to suggest a traditional Chinese funeral ceremony associated with ancestor worship, though Wong has remarked they do not represent any particular ritual. The work deals with death, remembrance, and history, and was conceived as a memorial to the Chinese workers who died building the Canadian railway through the Rocky Mountains. It is also dedicated to the artist’s father, Hoy Ming Wong, and to two friends and collaborators who committed suicide, Ken Fletcher (1954-1978) and Paul Speed (1967-1991). Wong created the work while artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta. Chinaman’s Peak is the name of a mountain near Banff where, according to legend, a Chinese worker killed himself. The work was first performed at Tunnel Mountain, Banff in 1992, before being exhibited as an installation at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Vancouver, for the Chinese New Year, in 1993.

New France, under the leadership of French governor Louis de Buade de Frontenac, repels the British invasion at the Battle of Quebec

The documentary is structured as a video letter from a black man denouncing the persistence of racism in Brazilian society and media, a century after the official end of slavery. Thus, it presents the contradictions between two images of racial relations in Brazil: the image disseminated abroad, which spreads the myth of racial democracy, and the internal image, presented in textbooks and on television, in which negative stereotypes are perpetuated against the black population.

Second collaboration with the composers Haro/Fiori. The images refer to the crisis of the representation of reality which emerges with the mass diffusion of electronic images on television and on video in the last decade of the 20th century. The piece also illustrates the discussion relevant at the time (1991-92), and still so today, on the replacement of experimental cinema with video art. The title alludes to a quote from Heinrich Rudolf Hertz, "The consequences of images will be images of consequences."

The Nutcracker is a puppet production by Jim Gamble, featuring the music by Peter Tchaikovsky, and adapted from E.T.A. Hoffman's 1816 story and Marius Petipa's 1896 ballet, that was produced and released for the 1992 holiday season.

This film has no narrative, it is a journey throuth the city using the 'jump-cut' and 'cinematic time' to move from the past to the present and the present to the past. Trains, airplanes and pesdestrians now move freely through what was a 'divided' city. This film was originally projected onto a shop window in an Edinburgh street in December as part of a Lght Festival celebrating the European Summit in 1992.

One day in the hot summer, a high school girl transfers to another school. As she is saying goodbye to her friends at the school gate, she hears the bell at the station. Forty minutes to go until the next train... So began the last dodgeball game on the riverbank. The yellow ball flew over everyone's head. The two boys who liked her look at each other. One of them calls out to her. You've got a sore shoe, haven't you? Then she goes barefoot and hugs the boy. Then the train bell rings. Bye bye!" She waved loudly to everyone with mixed feelings and headed for the station... Everyone has their own sweet and sour memories of their teenage years. This is not a new theme, but it is straightforwardly expressed in a game of dodgeball. The interplay of cuts and camera work is also unique. The relaxed flow of after-school time and the urgency of the impending departure of the train all come together to create an ups and downs in the drama of separation.

A woman gazes at the television while she irons as she falls in love with a murderer in the news. A young woman living in a dilapidated flat falls in love with a man who is wanted for the murder of a college girl and is reported on the news every day. She scraps his press photos and talks to his wanted posters on the street. But her secret happiness is short-lived, and the day comes when the man is arrested, despite her pleas for him to run away. She cries as she listens to the news, and when the wind blows in her room, all that is left is... A sad and fantastic love story, with a surprising twist at the end. The iron that the woman keeps in her room, the laundry, is a symbol of her feelings for the man, but because it is white in colour, the more it increases, the purer the effect of her feelings becomes.

Every Good Friday, the inhabitants of Burzet, in Ardèche, redo the Way of the Cross of Christ's Passion. In 1992, the filmmaker Jean-Pierre Bozon filmed this ceremony at length and met the main characters of this way of the cross, seven centuries old. Gérard Courant gathered and edited the rushes of this shoot and made five films. The last, entitled "Burzet", presents the village and shows the preparations for the Stations of the Cross of Burzet
