Chip and Dale are starving in their tree home when they notice a plentiful supply of acorns on an island in a lake. To get to the island, they borrow a miniature model ship of Donald's to sail on. The irate Donald, however, doesn't appreciate them stealing his ship and makes several attempts to get it back and thwart their scheme to get to their acorn paradise. Chip and Dale are, of course, always one step ahead of Donald.

A narrator's voice tells stories, primarily about meeting or being with boys who are almost men. As he talks, we see various boys, usually isolated on a beach, in vacant cityscapes, in rooms or in bed. They take off their jackets, shirts, shoes, and trousers; they wear white Jockey briefs. These portraits are sometimes interrupted by two or three performers who move, speak, dance, and cavort, making sport of male interactions. The narrator's stories become erotically more explicit and more introspective: he discusses Meher Baba's view of the problem of sex; he admits to wanting full control over these youths to be freed from real relationships. Fantasies evaporate.

I like traditional films and I tend to see Imax like a gimmick. In this case, however, I felt that the story, the emotions and the music of the film were not overtaken by the spectacular FX and I liked that. Less tricks, more feelings.... Tricks can be fabricated by the lorry load, it is just a question of $$$, feelings, poetry and emotions cannot be replaced when missing. In this film there is plenty of the latter. I would say it is a Low Tech piece of poetry.

The story of menstruation begins, as the motherly narrator informs us, with the pituitary gland - a gland at the base of the brain that sends hormones throughout the bloodstream that order growth. When a girl reaches an age somewhere between 11 and 17 - the average is 13 - the pituitary gland sends maturing orders to the ovaries, which in turn order the uterus to create a thickened lining, filled with watery fluids and blood. If an egg is fertilized it will remain within that thickened lining for nourishment. But if the egg is not fertilized, the body has no use for the extra nourishment, and it passes out of the body - which is the process called menstruation. The narrator proceeds to disprove taboos against bathing or exercise during menstruation. She advises that girls should keep a calendar that keeps track of the number days between periods. And she notes how good posture, healthy foods and positive attitudes can affect the menstruation cycle.

Born in a corn field, and raised by two crows and a turkey, Corny Cornhusker loves all things corn. She loves corn dogs, and corn chips, and corn cobbler. She wears corn tassels in her corn yellow hair, clothes made from corn husks, and necklaces of roots and kernels. She's quite the jarring sight! Especially in the dark, when she prowls around at night, and sneaks from house to house, peeking into strangers windows to watch them sleep. This short uses a musical suite to show Americans what they are fighting for in World War II. As an orchestra in military dress plays different "chapters" of the work, relevant excerpts from MGM films show the history of America. The chapters are: 1) Birth of Freedom; 2) The Land Divided; 3) Coming of Age: 4) Land of the Free. At the end, a chorus sings a patriotic exhortation.

He takes up his father's place, but the crows are not impressed; in fact, the crow goes on the attack. Junior finally thinks he's found a pose that works, but in fact Dad's come up behind him. Penny and Sam work for a notoriously mean spirited, selfish, and somewhat abusive big fish Hollywood producer, MJ Siegel. They run a day's worth of outrageous and demoralizing errands for her, and end up turning on one another when Penny's movie idea is stolen, pitched, and sold to MJ by Sam as her own idea.
