On April 24th 1915 the Ottoman Empire began the systematic execution of its Armenian subjects, this will be known in history as the Armenian Genocide. Straw Dolls begins in the later months of 1915 in the Eastern Regions of Armenia. In a isolated farming village live Kevork Kachichian (Marco Khan) and his daughter Tamar (Michelle Yolyan). Rumors have been spreading through out the village that the Turkish soldiers are to start deporting their village. In an attempt to avoid deportation he and his daughter are packing their homestead. Tamar pleads with her father to wait for their friends, but Kevork knows that time is not on their side. Just as the last box is placed on the cart, a mounted Turkish Captain (Anthony Skordi) can be seen rounding the mountainside. In a last ditch effort Kevork hides his daughter. As the convoy approached his home Kevork sees that their friends have been captured, Lucine (Mary Apick) and her daughter Aylne (Celine Talia). Kevork attempts to convince the Captain of his allegiance and nationality through the Turkish language and customs he had acquired through his business. Unbeknownst Kevork his daughter Tamar is going to make a decision that will change their lives forever.

Work It Out is a short drama film dealing with depression, work place bullying and thoughts of ending it all. Struan works in an office of a building firm. A sensitive soul he is surrounded by toxic male builder. Men that have worked in the building industry all their lives and view the world through men’s eyes, and he hates it. ​ But he’s stuck in a life where he has to provide for his new family. At home is his new wife expecting their new baby. So he’s dealing with having to listen to misogynistic, homophobic and racist behaviour. He also deals with language from one particular person: his boss, John Perry, who is a bully. He bullies everyone in the office. He also picks his fights. He tries to align himself with certain people when it suits him. As Struan is in charge of the accounts, and the fact that John has no idea about finances or what’s going on, he relies on Struan to keep him up to date with simple data. But at the same time he insults Struan at every opportunity. The company's boss turns up to audit their accounts. Money is missing, John has 5 days to produce the answer. He pressures Struan to fudge the books to keep the big boss satisfied till he is able to raise the money (through gambling) and put the money back. Either Struan helps or John will make sure it looks like Struan has stolen the money. Will Struan do the right thing?
