Inspired by Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis", my adaptation of the story 'The Other Side' is an experimental short which follows a romantic relationship that questions the source of the dynamics within a relationship. As the balance of give and take is disrupted by Berçin's illness, she internalizes losing her value in the relationship due to the disruption of the initial dynamics. In contrast to Berçin, whose self-worth is damaged, Ahu doesn't measure the value Berçin provides based on her "usefulness". Ahu continues to love her girlfriend without giving up on her. Despite Ahu's unwavering attempts to support her, Berçin doesn't see or believe any parts of herself. Ultimately Ahu painfully gives up on Berçin and the story comes to a dark and poetic end.

Man has always questioned the mysteries of the universe, trying to understand, generally without much success, what role he is obliged to play in the scheme of things. Is he the master of his condition, responsible for his actions, or is his life the result of a predetermined plan? Wigner is an economically challenged young man, whose fascination with science and the natural laws that govern the world, lead him to inadvertently experiment with principles of a philosophical nature and to explore the various contexts that make up the subatomic realm. Guided by a contemplative soliloquy -indeterministic in its essence-, we follow Wigner through an ordinary night´s venture. There we meet a series of common, every day characters who converge unexpectedly until they find themselves dangerously intertwined by their circumstances. Little by little, Wigner discovers that the events taking place will only have the result that he and his friends choose to embrace, each one "observing" the same scenario in a subjective and personal manner. In the end, perhaps the reality they share is the same, or maybe a completely different one. Using Latin American urban life -with its diverse and challenging undertones- as a colorful backdrop, and a "Chekhovian" approach to his characters (simplicity camouflaging profound complexities) Gabriel Traversari pays a novel tribute to the conundrums of quantum mechanics and invites us to contemplate the existential elements that inhabit the quotidian

The film addresses the theme of social isolation that affects many young people. Known throughout the world by the Japanese term hikikomori, which now seems to have become a real social emergency. Millions of young people and adults around the world experience this condition of isolation which leads them to lock themselves in their homes. There are no specific statistics on the incidence of hikikomori, because they are often individuals who voluntarily isolate themselves from society and therefore may be underestimated in official data. Nonetheless, in Italy, some research by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and the CNR estimates the number of young Italian students who experience this condition at around 70,000. The research only concerned young people between 11 and 17 years old and, therefore, the number of hikikomori people in Italy could likely be considerably greater. The phenomenon is the subject of interest and study by pedagogists, educators, sociologists and psychologists, who seek to better understand the causes and possible solutions to address this form of social isolation. Prevention requires a multidimensional approach, capable of involving the different sectors of society. In particular, for an empathic approach, the aspects linked to the knowledge and dissemination of the phenomenon, the support for families, the identification of warning signs of social isolation, the promotion of social inclusion for those at risk, the educational-pedagogical and psycho

This film tells the story of two characters meeting and happening during their spiritual journey. One is a city dweller who has lost his soul in the city. He is walking on the road with a blue bathtub on his back, and the other is a tree planter with a tree on his back. They all have the same purpose of 'going home'. Their hometown is in the snowy mountains, and they have gone through the mountains, the Gobi, and the desert all the way through hardships! On the way home, they met on a deserted hill. The man who planted the tree, due to the hardships along the way, was unable to support himself and eventually collapsed on the way. The man carrying the bathtub was speechless and silently accompanied the man who planted the tree all night. As the sun was about to be born, he buried the man carrying the tree along with the small tree on his way home. The man carrying the bathtub continued to set out, Moving towards the snowy mountains, we finally arrived at them, blending our naked bodies into a pure spiritual home and completing our spiritual journey of worship. In l933, Richard Hollingshead invented the drive-in movie theatre, a cinema for Americans infatuated with the automobile. For fifty years, the drive-in asserted its place in American culture as a mecca for families and restless teenagers. Today, the "passion pit with pix" has become a dinosaur. Drive-In Blues celebrates the drive-in and laments its decline. A blank white screen looms behind interviews with old-time theatre owners who reminisce about the heyday of the drive-in as they confront the reality of a dying business. Laced with unusual archival trailers, the tone of the film swings between camp and nostalgia.
