Synopsis

The protagonist of our story is Totò, an old Sicilian farmer that cultivates almond trees in the mountains and countryside of Sicily. He’s dedicated all of his life to these plants and fields. The story follows this man’s routine and narrates his last moments before he leaves the Earth forever. Through bitter memories and nostalgia, stuck in the veil between life and death, he looks for his daughter, he gathers all the letters that he never sent her… those words that he never got to say.
